Good afternoon, fam.
One of the biggest themes of the Star Wars universe is hope. Whether it’s A New Hope, or the Return of the Jedi, the vast universe in this space opera depends on that hope to get through, to complete their mission and obtain truth and freedom for the citizens.
What does this have to do with you?
It’s just a reminder that though the obstacle before you may seem unsurmountable, you can do this.
Baby steps count as progress to your goal.
Hell, even the emotional cha-cha is part of progress.
You can get past those who would stand against you, who whisper that you are doomed to fail, that you are not worthy of the change you’re seeking, that you, my dear, sweet child, are only worthy to be the neck beneath their boot.
They are wrong. And they’re afraid of allowing you to be more than their lies. Because what if you find peace? What if you lay down concrete boundaries? What if you listen to your cheerleaders, people like me, and move beyond their reach?
It’s not your job to pad their miserable comfort. You deserve better.
So remember that hope is a powerhouse.
And you’re allowed to live there.
I have spoken.
