You have a big heart, and you treat everyone around you with love and respect, but I have to ask: Why aren’t you doing that for yourself?
Now before you replay the litany of reasons you don’t believe that you are worthy, I want to remind you that you are indeed worthy of love and respect.
Not because you did anything to earn that worth, but because, my dear, sweet child, you were born with it.
And I know, maybe your childhood didn’t reflect that ideology, but that was not your doing. That was solely the misdeeds of those lives you were born into and their inability to quantify their own self-worth.
You are worthy.
And I’ll keep reminding you until you believe it, too.
Love,
Your Mom
