If you struggled this week with the echoes of your past trauma, as we head into the weekend, I wanted to remind you that it does not define you.
Yes, it may have shaped your view.
Yes, it carved deep lines along your heart.
Yes, it colors how you build your life.
But it does not define you.
Your trauma is just a stop along the way of the journey of you.
You define the person you are, the one you are becoming, and while your foundation may hurt, it is not the world you’ve built for yourself.
You are more than the sum of your trauma.
You are loved, worthy and wonderful. Remember that.
